    The supper and liturgy will take place at 6:30pm. The liturgy will be table-side and will be followed by the symbolic "Washing of the Feet." This will take place at 6:30pm

    This eucharist lincludes a presentation of St. John's Passion; a sermon; the Veneration of the Cross; and communion from the reserved sacrament. At 3:00pm the tolling bell will be rung 33 times to mark the years Christ spent on this earth and the moment of his death.

    The centerpiece of this service will be the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa). The readings will be an extended meditation on the crucifixion. These readings will be interspersed with reflections, Taize chant, and flute.

    This service powerfully reinforces baptism as the passover from death into life as this day, on which we also remember Israel's passover from bondage to freedom. The liturgy begins in a darkened church bearing individual tapers lit from the Paschal candle. There will be a reception following the service.

    This glorious service of Holy Eucharist is complete with lilies, brass, and our Festival choir, and will be followed by a special coffee-hour. At noon there will be an Easter egg hunt for the children. There is no 8:00am service on this day.
